Dr Sonu Shamdasani is the world’s leading Jung scholar. He is editor of the new edition of Théodore Flournoy’s From India to the Planet Mars, an extraordinary case study of a Geneva medium, ‘Hélène Smith’, published in 1900, the year of Freud’s The Interpretation of Dreams. Dr Shamdasani will discuss Flournoy’s attempt to found a psychology, and will examine its relevance to the theme of this year’s seminars: psychologism.
