Dora returned to Freud a hundred years ago this month. She told him she had elicited confessions from Herr and Frau K. that they had lied. Freud called this her ‘revenge’. Was he right? We draw on Anthony Stadlen’s original historical research—and Leviticus, Levinas, Derrida, Irigaray—to think this through.
